-ENGLISH VERSION- « MA TERRE EN 180 MIN »

Take part to a collaborative workshop to reduce the carbon emissions of the academic world.

Ma Terre en 180′ is the 1st collaborative workshop from the academic world to build scenarios for reducing its carbon footprint. The aim is to initiate discussions on a laboratory’s carbon footprint in a fun way, by questioning travel (air, train, car, boat) and activities (field missions, modeling, conferences, etc.) and proposing concrete measures to implement in order to reduce this footprint by 50% by 2030 at the latest.

During the workshop, a research team, made up of characters (inspired by real life) with varied profiles, is put on stage. Embodying characters whose opinions are not necessarily shared helps to better understand the different possible points of view and to look for levers to change behavior.

Ma Terre en 180′ was created by a group of scientists (IRD, UGA, CNRS, CNAP) from the IGE, ISTerre and GIPSA-lab laboratories in Grenoble. This workshop has been validated as one of the workshops of the Labos1point5 Experimentation group.
